| We visited Muhammad Ali's grave at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville. He had died while we were in California so we missed the grand send off Louisville did for him. |

| Grandma's 56th birthday! We went to a kitschy store and I let her pick out her present. She picked a Star Trek sticker book. Love Grandma and her quirky style! For her birthday dinner she wanted real southern cooking. We found a place in the West End that had a take out window. During her stay we also went to Shakespeare in the Park and watched A Winter's Tale. We took Thula to girl's camp in Indiana (Thula loved it). |

| We walked up and down main street and ate at a restaurant called Good Stuff. The kids still talk about it! Grandpa also took us out to eat at Thula's favorite pizza place and for some Thai food. Everything was so good! |

| Everyone got a ride on the motorcycle. My heart was on my sleeve watching little Stuart on that bike. |

| Grampa lives across the street from the back of the high school. |

| We went over to Erin's (Meg's daughter) house. Lela and Stuart liked playing with her girls, Evie (4) and Emry (2). |

| 2nd day at the beach (El Segundo). I had a lot of fun boogie boarding that day. We also saw a lot of crabs and a seal (which Thula thought was a shark). We packed lunches for the beach. We ate cold hot dogs, watermelon, chips, and cookies. |

| Last day! We miss you grandpa and we are happy that we got to visit with you. |

| June 1st we headed up to Chicago to see our Zimmerman cousins. We swam in their pool. |
