Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

The Kindergarten had a thanksgiving feast and everyone brought something to share. Stuart was assigned to dress up like a pilgrim. More like hey assigned him to look adorable!

Medora Elementary School has a turkey trot and canned food drive every year. Here is Stuart's class taking a picture with the turkey.

All three kindergarten classes ran together. The girls got a head start. Stuart came in the top 10 and was the first boy, I was so proud! He was really trying hard.

Here he comes to the finish line!

1st-5th grades ran together. Lela did very well.

Enjoying some water after the race.

Lela and her friend Mason cheering on the other runners.

Stuart receiving his first place medal for the boys. Their school raised 13k cans for local charities, it was their largest donation ever.

I checked them out after the race and we walked back to the car.

On a thanksgiving day walk/scoot around the neighborhood.

Lela's Baptism

Lela was able to get baptized on Saturday, November 4th 2017. She was so excited to be able to take that step forward. Grandpa John and Grandma Robin came to witness her baptism. Her activity day leader Jenny Wilkerson spoke on baptism and I spoke on the Holy Ghost. Thula gave the closing prayer. We had desert for refreshments afterwards. Grandma brought a pie, Thula and Grandpa made cookies, cupcakes, and a pie. I have a lot more pictures on my other computer and I made her a special baptism book. So enjoy this one photo of her right before she makes first covenant wih Her Heavenly Father.
