My Favorite Color is October

I went looking for beautiful fall pictures and I found them right in my neighborhood. I love this time of year in Kentucky. It looks like New England without the cold. The kids and I have been making good use of the hammock too. It's nice to swing in it and know that you aren't going to get a head full of ticks (the cooler temperatures help kill some of them off. :-)

Looks good enough to eat.

Not a cloud in the sky!

Happy All Saints Day!

Louisville had a tornado warning for Halloween night so trick or treating was postponed for Friday night. It ended up being a perfect night. Clear and warm.

My little fairy.

My dead rock star. She looks native american to me.

Girls with attitude.

There's my little froggy.

Lela is such a benevolent sister fairy.

Trick or treating with friends from church.

Good friends.

Stuart walked up to only one house. He got his sucker and all he wanted to do was sit and eat it.

Halloween house!

Stuart liked looking at everything.

Trick or treating at the 'dream house.'

Trick or treating at our house. Stuart loves this part of Halloween. He also has spooky music playing on my old 'boom box.'

These are sad pictures. Stuart is clinging to my leg for dear life. He doesn't want to be with that red devil.

"I don't want this 'Santa's' lap!"

The candy fest.
