Dad's Night Out

Lela's school held a Dad's Night Out. Lela was so excited! She had her hair spray painted (Thula was pretty jealous about that).

Lela and daddy having a tug of war contest. Dad is holding the new book, "The Three Ninja Pigs" he bought for her at the book fair.

Dinner time.

Since school began...

Every Thursday Thula has a volleyball game. She's having fun with it.

Stuart loves his pancakes! Everday he says, " I wah pancake!"

Lela was picked to be the Star child for the week. She had to decorate a star that described all about her. She loved being the star child for the week because she got to pick the games at recess and be line leader!

Stuart loves the zoo. When I told him we were going to the zoo he pounded his chest like a gorilla and ran and got his shoes on. I didn't know he knew what the word "zoo" meant.

Soccer

Lela's first soccer practice. She has a lot of fun running around out there.

Getting ready for her first game.

Thula's first game. She played with so much heart. I almost wanted to cry watching her try so hard. Love her!

Friends

Stuart's best bud came over to pudding paint and splash in the pool. I love these two little boys.

Lela already for kindergarten. She is really enjoying school and all her new friends.

Ladies night out at the Downs!

World Fest

World Fest is a festival that showcases food, music, dancing, and crafts from all the cultures that represent Louisville. It was a lot of fun and to be honest would have been more fun without the kids. I just wanted to sit and listen to all the awesome music (it was FREE) but they just wanted to splash around in the fountain. I did get to try some Ethiopian and Malawian food.

Lunch with Lela!

Lela asked if I would meet her for lunch at her school. Stuart and me drove down for a quick lunch.
