Snow Days

It does snow in Louisville!

Ready for snow (at least for the first 5 minutes of it).

Stuart had an idea to sled down in our kiddie pool. It was great fun, but after a while the pool had beat in such a nice shear path that the kids were flying down the hill to fast and skidding right into the road so we had to put the kibosh on it.

Ready for church! She looks so much like Stuart's sister, Mwape, in this photo.

Ready for church! Love those two bluebirds.

"We are not leaving without these bags of marshmallows."

We ended up leaving without the bags of marshmallows...mean mommy moment.

Happy 100th day of school! I love Kindergarten.

Someone is always crying around here..

or sleeping

I found this picture on my camera roll, nice eyeshadow Thula. You are really growing up, you love dinking around the bathroom now.
It's Alive!

So tired he fell asleep waiting for his lunch.

Early 2015 pictures

The kids have missed several days of school due to snow this past February. On one of those days we took a tour of the Slugger Baseball Museum.

Enjoying Blake's little brother's first birthday.

Party outfit = party girl

Climbing trees at the park.

My new church calling for the new year is Nursery Leader. (Yeah, more mommy and Stuart time!) The boys love playing this game where they dump out the toys and place the baskets on their heads. Then they charge each other like gladiators. It's so funny. NOTE: No little boys were seriously hurt in the filming of this production.

New toy! The kids have christianed him Zebee.

We joined the YMCA again. They have a rock wall. Lela was excited to try, but she only made it half way up.

Stuart and his best pal Blake (who finally got a hair cut!)

Our library has a program where you can read to two Rhodesian Ridgeback therapy dogs. I thought it was so fun. They were sweet dogs. These are the kinds of dogs big Stuart had when he was a kid in Zambia.

After school popcorn snack and movie on the kindle.

Yeah! Mom's making pancakes for breakfast.

Fancy Family Home Evening Dinner.

making foot-card valentines.

Making healthy icecream-whipped banana and milk.

The valentine cards we sent out to family.

"Hipster" Lela. She loves wearing those glasses.

The kids love having 'sleepovers' with mom.
