18th century market fair at Locust Grove
It was cold today but we trekked out to Locust Grove and enjoyed the year 1775. We toured the historic house, watched a Punch and Judy puppet show (our favorite) practiced our sewing and wool carding skills, and watched a revolutionary war battle reenactment. We also ate some delicious bread and cheese and stew. Little Stuart got a little bird whistle that sounds just like a song bird and Lela picked out a rabbit fur. Thula picked out a big loaf of bread to eat.
Halloween parties
I volunteered to help with Stuart and Lela's class Halloween parties. I did a photo booth, spider racers, pin the spider on the web, toilet paper 'ghost' bowling, and a dice game. I'm so glad I could participate! Later that night we did it all over again at the ward Halloween party.
Fall fun
Lela's class went on a field trip to squire boon caverns. She had a good time and said she liked panning for gold the best. Grandpa sent these spooky glow in the dark jammies. Thula wore hers to school during school spirit week! And lastly, we are all dolled up ready for the primary program! Lela had a solo and a duet. 😍
Field trip
Grandma came to visit and helped chaperone Stuart's class field trip to Huber's Orchard. They had a lot of fun. We also made candy apples. Yum! I discovered that cute little praying mantis at the library.💜
