Farnsley Moreman Landing

One of my favorite places close to home is the historic river plantation, Farnsley Moreman Landing. We had a tour of the house and then the kids got to help with the archeology dig. Lela found pottery shards and Stuart found flint. Another kid found a pig tooth.

Eating watermelon in the garden.

They had these cute birds nests in the corners of the visitors center. We watched the mother bird drop worms into their mouths.

Afterwards we had icecream at Dairy Queen.

Lela pretending to be Nanny McPhee with her loose tooth.

Pals playing around.
