| Our first "Passover" dinner. I always romanticize things and holding a Passover dinner was one of them. I got a book about how to hold your own Passover meal and I tried my best. I would love to go to real one someday! We made the haroset, the roasted egg, the bitter herb, and unleavened bread. We also had fish and honey, figs, grapes, and olives to eat what Jesus ate when we was alive. Stuart cooked our talapia fish. This Easter we dyed eggs and found our Easter baskets on the first day of spring. Then the following week we talked about what Jesus was doing the last week of His life. We watched videos and we looked at pictures of my brother Jeb and I shared my testimony of the resurrection. We made resurrection cookies and rolls and we prepared our Passover meal together on Easter Sunday. During sacrament I bore my testimony and then Lela bore hers all by herself. I was so proud. The primary children sang Hosana and it was little Stuart's first time to go up and sing with the primary. It was so cute; he was all smiles and he waved at me. I was in charge of sharing time today and I felt so happy that I could be spending the day teaching the gospel. After our dinner we went for a family drive through the country and we hid more eggs outside and then came in and ate our sweet potato pie. I love Easter. |
