Family Time

Sweet toothed Lela! There is a beautiful barbie cake at Meijer where I grocery shop. Every time we pass it Lela asks if we can buy it. I started telling her, "On your birthday." Then she started asking me, "Is it my birthday yet?" Lela can be relentless when she wants something. I finally gave in and said we could make the barbie cake ourselves. I am not an artist or a decorator and the cake is ugly, but we had fun making it. The very next day Lela had a dentist appointment where it was discovered that she has 8 cavities. Thula has never had a cavity so don't go judging me!

The kids love their daddy. 

Lela put herself in time out after getting in trouble. I found her sleeping outside. 

Baby loves his black beans and water bottle. 

For family home evening I got the kids DQ and we had a picnic dinner. Then we walked around Waverly pond and fed the ducks. We had a great time. The weather has finally cooled down a bit.
