Spring Break

Michelle Yuyi brought her kids down for their spring break. We walked across the pedestrian bridge from downtown Louisville into Indiana and had a picnic lunch. Afterwards we went to Schimpffs candy store.

Picnic lunch on the other side of the bridge in Jeffersonville, IN.

Kobe, Stuart, Elsie, and Briggs at Schimpffs candy store. We are watching a demonstration of how to make red hots.

On Thursday and Friday we took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge in Cincinnati. About an hour and half drive from Louisville.

When you go to great wolf lodge they give you a complimentary set of wolf ears! Howl at the moon!

The only picture I took of the pool area! It was so fun. The kids were soooo excited. The first day there they played from 2PM-9PM and the second day from 10AM-to 4PM. This picture was taken right before we left on the second day, Stuart was tired and crying as usual. He loved the water slides and the 'kid' hot tub a.k.a. pee pool. Lela and Briggs liked the wave pool best and Thula and Kobe had fun doing the water slides togther.

After we left great wolf lodge we decided we were not ready for the fun to end so we drove another 5 hours up to Pittsburgh where the Yuyi's live. Elsie and Lela were great playmates.

Hunting for Easter eggs.

Stuart and Briggs (5) are good little pals.

Too much Easter egg fun. Look at the size of those feet!

Thula (11) and Kobe (8).

Easter morning. I guess the Easter bunny found us all the way in Pittsburgh.

Stuart got a bubble gun in his basket.

Stuart loved playing with all his cousin's boy toys.
Kobe used to take Karate so the kids had fun playing with all his belts.

"Thumbs" up for general conference!

Aunt Michelle made a birthday cake for Lela to help celebrate her upcoming birthday!

Afterwards we had a glow stick dance party!

Too much glow stick dance party. :-)

Painting at the children's museum in Pittsburgh. What a great place!

Climbing structure. There were a lot of orthodox Jews at the museum that day.

Mister Roger's was filmed in Pittsburgh. The museum had a lot of the show's memorabilia. I was so excited!
