| Lela turned 7 years old on Thursday. The night before, I decorated the house with streamers and balloons so when she woke up she was really surprised. |

| Her friend Ava came home with her on the bus. I got her diving sticks, a hoola hoop, dental flossers, a pencil pouch, and a pretty hand fan. |

| Afterwards we had planned to go roller skating, but they weren't open. I asked the kids what they wanted to do instead and they asked to go to Dairy Queen and the park. |

| I spied three little tree frogs in a hollow of the tree. It was the highlight of my evening. |
